Whanganui Counselling Services offers professional assessment conversations and written support reports for people requiring documentation relating to court matters, sentencing, legal processes, professional support, or other significant life situations.

This service may include a one-off assessment session and a written summary outlining relevant background information, current presentation, insight, accountability, engagement, motivation for change, willingness to access support, and future direction where appropriate.

Our approach is grounded, respectful, practical, and focused on seeing the person behind the situation — supporting honest reflection, accountability, and possible pathways forward.

This service is not a psychological or psychiatric assessment, expert witness report, or formal forensic evaluation. Reports are based on professional observations, discussion, and presentation at the time of engagement.
