Report Writing & Support Letters
Whanganui Counselling Services can provide written support letters and client engagement summaries confirming attendance, duration and frequency of sessions, general areas of focus, and observed engagement or progress where appropriate.
These documents may be suitable for sharing with legal representatives, agencies, workplaces, schools, or other professionals requiring confirmation of support or service engagement. They are suitable for anyone in employment or unemployment who is requiring written support. There is no distinction between one's work status. All are equally important as the other.
Support letters are prepared based on information discussed within counselling, mentoring, supervision, mediation, or other support services provided through Whanganui Counselling Services. The content of any letter will depend on the purpose of the request, the information available, and professional suitability.
Where appropriate, letters may outline attendance history, participation in sessions, goals being worked on, areas of personal development, practical steps being taken, and observations relevant to the purpose of the request. Any information included must be discussed with and authorised by the client prior to release.
Whanganui Counselling Services aims to provide factual, balanced, and professionally written documentation that accurately reflects the nature of the support provided. Written reports are prepared independently and are not influenced by external agencies employers, legal representatives, family members, or other parties.
This service does not include formal court reports, psychological assessments, expert witness reports, legal opinions, diagnostic assessments, or recommendations regarding legal outcomes, parenting decisions, employment matters, or eligibility for services.
Fees charged depend on the complexity, length, and purpose of the document requested.
